Investing.com quotes, watchlists and fair-value holdings

Fusion Media Limited · Banking

Investing.com: Stock Market is the Android markets terminal of Fusion Media Limited, the Nicosia (Cyprus) publisher behind the Investing.com portal. Retail investors and active traders watch live quotes on stocks, forex, crypto, indices, commodities and bonds, keep named watchlists and paper portfolios, scan economic, earnings, dividend and IPO calendars, read news and analysis, chat with Warren AI, and subscribe to InvestingPro for fair-value models and ProPicks. Price, percent and earnings alerts sit on those same instrument screens, and a country-edition picker swaps the homepage for local markets. The app is a global quote-and-research client — not a broker — competing with Yahoo Finance, TradingView and Bloomberg for the same retail desk.

Quoted pair_ID ticks pin last_numeric and last_dir on each instrument, while paper-portfolio rows carry AvgPrice, NetPL and StockSymbol. Watchlists return portfolio_id and pairs_data; dividend cards expose annualized_payout, dividend_yield and payout_ratio; earnings prints list eps_actual versus eps_forecast; calendar rows stamp event_actual against event_forecast. Fair-value cards add upside and nested analyst_target.

Research desks join ticks to holdings P&L, calendar bots fan actual-versus-forecast surprises, and wealth screens overlay dividend yield on a watchlist. openData Studio turns that quote, holdings and calendar surface into callable open data.

Where teams use this data

  • Watchlist tick fan-out

A research bot maps watchlist pairs_data pair_ID to livequote pid, then fires when last_numeric or last_dir on AAPL and peers crosses a desk band.

  • Paper-book P&L recon

A PMS diffs HoldingsDataItem Amount, AvgPrice and NetPL plus DailyPLShort / MarketValueShort against an internal blotter so paper books stay aligned overnight.

  • Calendar surprise alerts

A macro desk joins event_actual to event_forecast and event_previous on event_attr_ID rows and pages traders when event_actual_color flips on NFP-style prints.

  • Yield overlay on holdings

A wealth screen stamps dividend_yield, annualized_payout and next_dividend_date onto each StockSymbol, then ranks names by payout_ratio next to fair-value upside.

Frequently asked questions

What live quote fields does Investing.com stream?

Livequote events carry pid (the instrument pair_ID), last_numeric, last_dir and low. Instrument headers add pair_symbol, pair_name, currency_in and decimal_precision.

Can I read paper holdings and watchlists, not just quotes?

Yes. Signed-in watchlists return portfolio_id, portfolio_name and pairs_data. Paper-portfolio rows expose Amount, AvgPrice, NetPL, StockSymbol and pair_id, with DailyPLShort and MarketValueShort on the totals card.

How does Investing.com sign-in work?

The client posts Token and Type, then stores the returned Token, Uapi and Mobile. Later calls send Authorization: Bearer with that Token; UserProfile also carries userId, email, proToken and permissions.

Which calendar and corporate-action fields are available?

Economic-calendar rows include event_attr_ID, event_actual, event_forecast, event_previous and event_timestamp. Dividend summaries expose annualized_payout, dividend_yield, payout_ratio and next_dividend_date; earnings prints list eps_actual versus eps_forecast.
